The rules for booking, deposits, work authorization, and our mechanic's lien. Plain English.
A deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The deposit is applied toward your service cost and is not refundable except at our sole discretion. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice may be considered for refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment, or no-shows, forfeit the deposit. The total cost of service will be at least the deposit amount.
Your booking and deposit authorize Esco's Mobile Auto Repair to perform the service you selected at the date and time you chose.
Florida Statutes 559.909 limits how much your final cost may exceed your written estimate without your re-authorization: the greater of $10 or 10% of the estimate, and never by more than $50 in total without you re-authorizing. If at any point during service the recommended scope of work changes (additional parts, additional labor, or related services) such that the cost would exceed this threshold, Esco's Mobile Auto Repair will pause work and send you an electronic work-authorization update to your email or phone showing the revised scope and price. No expanded work beyond the statutory threshold will be performed until you confirm electronically.
All authorizations and confirmations on this site, by email, or by SMS are intended by both parties to constitute valid electronic signatures and binding agreements under federal and Florida e-signature law (E-SIGN Act and Florida UETA).
Pricing shown on this site or sent via estimate link is a starting estimate based on the information you provide. Actual costs depend on vehicle inspection and may differ. Repairs that require additional time, parts unavailability, or unforeseen vehicle conditions may result in a final cost higher than initially quoted. Any change beyond the statutory threshold described in §2 will be communicated and require your approval before work proceeds.
The Vehicle Diagnostic service costs $150 and covers the first hour of diagnostic work. The deposit ($50) is applied toward this cost; the remaining $100 is due at time of service. If the diagnosis requires additional time due to complexity (multiple systems, intermittent faults, hard-to-reproduce conditions, etc.), we will pause, communicate the estimated additional time, provide a quote, and obtain your authorization before continuing — consistent with the Florida Motor Vehicle Repair Act authorization requirements in §2. Diagnostics are billed separately from repair labor. A partial credit of the diagnostic fee toward larger follow-on repairs may be applied at our discretion; it is not automatic and should not be assumed.
Under Miami-Dade County Code §8A-161.15, you have the right to request a written diagnostic analysis in addition to the written estimate, including the time required to complete the diagnosis. If the diagnosis cannot be completed within that time, we will provide a new written analysis; you may approve the extension in writing, or if you do not approve, your vehicle will be returned within 48 hours. You may waive this right in writing — we will not condition acceptance of repair work on your waiver.
Florida Statutes 559.905 requires that you elect, at the time of booking, whether any parts replaced during service should be returned to you or discarded. This election appears as a required choice on the booking form, and your choice is recorded on your written estimate. If you elect to have parts returned, they will be made available at the completion of service. If you elect "discard," parts will be disposed of in accordance with applicable environmental rules.
All parts furnished as part of any repair will be marked on your final invoice as new, used, or rebuilt as required by Florida Statutes 559.911(2). Parts carry only the warranty (if any) offered by their original manufacturer; Esco's Mobile Auto Repair does not extend any additional warranty on the parts themselves. If a part fails within the manufacturer's warranty period, we will assist with the warranty claim. Labor to remove and replace a part that failed due to a manufacturer defect is your responsibility, except where the failure was caused by an installation or workmanship error attributable to us — in which case the labor warranty in §7 applies.
Esco's Mobile Auto Repair warrants its workmanship for 90 days or 4,000 miles from the date of service, whichever comes first. If during that period a defect in our workmanship causes a problem with the work we performed, contact us and we will re-perform the affected labor at no additional labor charge. The labor warranty is separate from any parts warranty (see §6).
The labor warranty does not cover: (a) parts themselves, which are subject only to the manufacturer's warranty per §6; (b) failures caused by misuse, neglect, accident, unrelated wear, environmental exposure, or third-party tampering after service; (c) consequential or incidental damages; or (d) any work performed by someone other than Esco's after our original service. The warranty period begins on the date of the original service and must be claimed by contacting Esco's Mobile Auto Repair within that window. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act or any other applicable consumer-protection law.
At the start of service, Esco's Mobile Auto Repair will record your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the odometer reading at intake, and may document any visible pre-existing damage with photographs (see §13). This intake information appears on your estimate and final invoice as required by Florida Statutes 559.905 and 559.911.
Because we are a mobile service, the appointment takes place at the address you provide at booking. You agree that:
If, on arrival, the conditions above are not met and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, Esco's Mobile Auto Repair may reschedule, and the deposit is treated per §1.
If weather or other site conditions make work unsafe (lightning, heavy rain, flooding, extreme heat, etc.), Esco's Mobile Auto Repair may reschedule the appointment at no penalty to you. We will coordinate a new time, and your deposit applies to the rescheduled appointment.
Esco's Mobile Auto Repair is not responsible for personal property, valuables, electronics, documents, or any other items left in the vehicle during service. Please remove anything you would not want left in the open while the vehicle is being worked on.
A short road test (typically within a 2-mile radius of the service location) may be necessary to confirm that the repair has resolved the issue and that the vehicle is safe to return. By booking, you authorize Esco's Mobile Auto Repair to road-test the vehicle as reasonably necessary to verify the work performed.
Esco's Mobile Auto Repair may take photographs of the vehicle's condition before and after service to document pre-existing damage, work performed, and parts replaced. These photos are retained as part of your service record. They will not be used for marketing, social media, or any public-facing purpose without your separate written consent.
Online auto-booking is available within a 5-mile radius of zip code 33137 (Wynwood/Edgewater, Miami). Bookings outside this area may be declined or require a separate quote arranged through the contact form.
Esco's Mobile Auto Repair reserves the right to decline service for any reason. If service is declined by us before the appointment begins, the deposit is fully refunded.
Esco's Mobile Auto Repair is not liable for any damages or losses outside the direct scope of work authorized and signed for at the time of service.
By submitting your booking and checking the agreement box, you authorize Esco's Mobile Auto Repair (operating as Concierge Automotive Repair Services LLC) to charge your provided payment method for the deposit amount shown. You further authorize charges to the same payment method for any work expansion you confirm electronically following inspection.
You acknowledge that under Florida Statutes Chapter 713, Part II (Liens of Persons Performing Labor or Services on Personal Property), Esco's Mobile Auto Repair has a statutory lien on your vehicle for the unpaid cost of any labor performed and parts furnished. By agreeing to these terms, you authorize work to be performed on your vehicle and acknowledge that, until full payment for the agreed-upon work is received, this lien remains in effect. If a balance remains unpaid more than the statutory grace period after work is completed, we may exercise our rights under Florida law, which may include retaining possession of the vehicle and ultimately a lien sale to recover the unpaid amount. Authorized labor and parts will be itemized on the digital estimate and final receipt you receive.
By submitting your booking, you consent to receive booking-related electronic communications from us, including appointment confirmations, work authorization updates, receipts, service reminders, and review requests, sent to the email and phone number you provided. You may unsubscribe from non-essential messages (such as service reminders or review requests) at any time.
